meet miji, the emotional awareness companion.
With miji, it only takes a few moments to check in with yourself and the people around you. See what miji sees in you, track yourself over time, and share your day with the people in your life who matter.
i can tell how you're doing.
Open the app and your camera catches your expression instantly. No check-in screens, no mood wheels, no typing required. Within a few moments, miji will show you what it sees in you. Sometimes miji might tell you something obvious, and other times catch things you haven't quite noticed in yourself just yet. miji's first look will be your starting point to understanding yourself and your loved ones even deeper than you already do.
what lights you up?
After certain calls, hangouts, or even texts, your score shifts. miji tracks those patterns over time so you can see which people bring out your best and which ones might not. You can share your daily card with friends who are also on miji. It becomes a way to check in on each other without having to explain everything. miji can help you share how your day truly went with the people in your close circle while reserving superficial posts for your wider orbit.
i'm a great listener.
Begin a journaling session with miji and your words will appear on-screen in real time. miji will respond directly to the words you share, your expression and voice throughout your session. At the end of each session, five gold words surface from everything you shared with miji. Those words are yours to keep, revisit and process whenever you want.
and i'll keep score so you don't have to.
miji will generate a single number encompassing how grounded miji perceives you feeling and how your connections could be affecting your current emotions. Your score is built from your individual baseline. You'll notice that some days your score climbs. Some days it might drop. Over weeks and months, your patterns become something you can use to better understand yourself.
did i mention i'm local? like, always.
Everything is processed on your device: your face, your voice, your patterns. Everything going on in your life stays between you and miji unless you choose to share it, and you'll see exactly what's being shared before it's sent. Any permissions you grant to miji to help it understand your life better are activated and revoked with separate toggles you control at all times. Your personal data is yours alone.
great meeting you! talk soon.

join the waitlistWhen a user opens the app, miji will use the user's front camera and begin running its perception engine to read their facial micro-expressions in real time. Subtle shifts in the brow and mouth, micro-movements around the eyes, and other facial landmarks are all mapped against a running emotional baseline unique to each user. The entire process takes just a few moments from launch to computed reflection. No buttons, no prompts, and no interaction required. The result is a single emotional snapshot that serves as the entry point for every other feature in the app.
The perception engine tracks four hundred sixty-eight facial landmarks across the full face mesh, mapping micro-movements, tension gradients, and bilateral symmetry in real time. It measures both the static position of each feature and its rate of change over the reading window. Composite signals like tension gradients and bilateral symmetry are weighted into the final assessment. The system uses aggregate historical assessments to adapt to each user's sensitivity over time, accounting for natural resting expressions and individual variation. Every perception process runs through a coordinated stack of on-device models with no cloud dependency.
Every reading is compared against the user's own historical data, not a population average. As a result, miji's readings and scores become more accurate and more personal the longer it gets to learn about the user's life. A slight brow furrow might be unremarkable for one person while indicating a significant shift for another. miji learns those individual distinctions and adapts accordingly. There are no normative benchmarks and no comparisons made against anyone else.
Any raw sensor data processed during a session with miji will never leave the user's device. The perception engine processes the video feed locally, extracts the relevant landmarks, and discards the raw frames immediately. Only derived emotional scores are retained and no user-specific biometric identifiers or facial geometry ever leave the phone. Each permission granted can be toggled with standalone toggles. Disabling any permission won't affect active features or enabled permissions.
Every day you get a single number measured entirely against your own life and history. No population benchmarks, no comparison, no ranking against anyone. miji generates a weighted composite of three distinct pillars: groundedness (how centered versus reactive you are today), connection quality (the strength of your social and emotional interactions), and trajectory (your directional trend over the past week). Each pillar pulls from different parts of the app, from face reads to journal sentiment to your interactions with miji. The composite is weighted across all three pillars, with groundedness and trajectory carrying slightly more influence than connection. If you skip the journal for a week, your score still draws from face reads and interaction data to stay current. The system never penalizes missing inputs; however, both miji's scoring accuracy and interaction quality increase over consistent check-ins and journaling sessions with you.
The score is always relative to your historical range. A 72 for one person might represent a strong recovery week, while the same number for someone else might signal a slow decline. Your baseline recalibrates continuously over a rolling window of the last thirty days. The goal is a number that feels honest to your circumstances. miji is a personal reflection tool, a daily touchpoint and a long-term record, not a clinical measurement or a replacement for professional support.
miji generates a daily share card unique to your life: your score over a color gradient that reflects the emotional arc of your day, paired with a single observation line. The observation line on each card is written by miji, a short reflection drawn from your face read and journal data for that day. No two score cards look the same because no two days feel the same. You can share your miji score card directly with friends or save them privately in-app. Score cards are intentionally abstract so you can share your true feelings without overexposing specifics. Sharing your miji score card might serve as a jumping-off point to a hard conversation, or to share exciting news. And over time, your score card archive becomes a visual diary of how your life actually felt to you.
With miji, you can track how your emotional baseline shifts in proximity to specific people and interactions. A call with a particular friend might consistently correlate with a score lift, while a recurring meeting might reliably precede a dip. These patterns are surfaced over weeks and months of interactions, not from any single data point. Going through a short rough patch with a loved one won't irreversibly change miji's perception of your relationship with them. The system never labels relationships as good or bad. miji instead presents the data it perceives and lets you draw your own conclusions. miji might get to know you well, but no one can know you better than yourself.
You can share your daily miji score card with any user on-app, or by downloading your card and sharing elsewhere with anyone you'd like. Your score card shows your current miji score and a corresponding color gradient, alongside an observation line. No journal content, no raw readings, no specifics are ever included in your miji score card. Recipients can see how your day felt at a glance without getting into the nitty-gritty if you don't want to. The score card is designed for the kind of check-in that happens between close friends, partners, and family. Sharing is always opt-in, always one card at a time, and you always see exactly what you're sharing.
When you and another user choose to share your miji scores with one another, miji can surface connection-specific insights between you two. Overlapping patterns begin emerging: days you both felt elevated, or stretches where one person's trajectory diverged from the other's. Both of you have chosen to be transparent, and either can step back at any time, no questions asked. This feature is for those specific relationships where you actually want to know how the other person is doing, and you'd like them to know the same about you.
You can create or join small groups of miji users within a shared circle, where everyone's daily cards appear at a glance. Your circle's feed shows the day's color and score for each member. Circle insights are determined by identifying overlapping trends in your circle's scores. None of your specific session content is ever visible to anyone else. Groups are capped at four users to keep your deepest circle meaningful and intimate.
Everything personal to you stays in your hands. Your miji score card lists your composite score, general trendline, daily color, and a short observation tag from miji. No notifications are sent when someone's score shifts unless you've both chosen to do so. No activity feeds, either. Your emotions aren't something to rank against others, and there's no "winning" with miji. The boundary between personal data and shared data is clear, fixed, and controlled entirely by you. Always.
Your journal was built around speaking, but you can type instead if you'd like. When you converse with miji, your words will appear as live transcription. If you misspeak or want to delete something, you can tap any phrase in the transcription to edit, delete, or expand upon. miji's transcription engine runs on-device with no cloud processing of any sensor data. This design choice exists because voice carries emotional data that typing does not, and the perception engine uses that signal to shape what happens next. miji doesn't rewrite or reinterpret anything you've shared, it only processes what you say, surfaces any subtle indicators, and keeps a faithful record for you. Think of miji like a mirror for yourself, not your therapist. miji works best if you continue processing scores with a licensed professional.
Your journal prompts aren't pulled from a library or from a template. They're generated from what miji's perception engine picks up during the session. Prompts might be generated as a response to miji hearing your tightened voice around a certain topic, a trailing sentence, or a facial expression that miji didn't think quite matched your words. Prompts stay gentle and open-ended, never lead, and never prescribe. But sometimes life calls for hard and slightly uncomfortable prompts. You never have to answer, but miji works best if you journal with an open mind and heart. miji will follow your lead, whatever you feel comfortable sharing.
At the close of each journal session, the five highest-weighted context words from your session are displayed for you to process. These are the words that miji's perception engine identified as carrying the most emotional significance during your session. Those words are the only directly parsed, journal-derived data that contributes to your score and aggregated profile. They become small markers across weeks and months that trace common themes running through your life.
You can access one journal session per day, or unlock unlimited sessions, full history, and search capabilities with premium. Past journal entries are stored entirely on-device and can be browsed by date, keywords surfaced, or aggregated session score. Over months of use, your miji journal becomes a searchable emotional record that no other app or diary can replicate.

miji is built by CO3 ONE. This policy describes how we handle your information when you use our application and website. We designed miji around a core principle: your personal data stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to share it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for any reason.
When you use miji, the application processes facial expression data, voice input, and journal entries entirely on your device. None of this data is transmitted to our servers. We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the service: your email address for account creation and waitlist registration. As we scale, we may introduce anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting, neither of which will contain personal content. We do not collect or store biometric data, facial geometry, voice recordings, or journal text on any server.
All perception, scoring, and journaling features run locally on your device using on-device machine learning models. Camera and microphone data is processed in real time and discarded immediately after analysis. Only derived scores and metadata are retained on your device. This architecture means that even we cannot access your personal emotional data because it never reaches our infrastructure.
When you choose to share your daily card with another miji user, only your composite score, color gradient, and observation line are transmitted. Journal entries, face read data, voice recordings, and pillar breakdowns are never included in shared content. You control every sharing action individually. You can revoke sharing permissions at any time without the other party being notified. Shared data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes. We may use third-party infrastructure providers for hosting and analytics, and these providers are contractually bound to process data only as we direct and to maintain appropriate security measures. We will disclose information if required by law, but we will notify you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
You can export all of your on-device data at any time through the app settings. You can delete your account and all associated data from our servers by contacting us. Since the majority of your data exists only on your device, deleting the app removes that data permanently. We respond to all data access and deletion requests within thirty days. If you have questions about your data or this policy, contact us at support@co3.one.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of miji after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. This policy was last updated in March 2026.
